Past President's Welcome

It is my honor to welcome you to the Connecticut Association of Higher Education and Disability (CT AHEAD) website. Though this website is in its infancy, CT AHEAD has a depth of knowledge and a wealth of professionals who are committed to working with individuals with disabilities in the higher education setting. Our mission is to serve as a vital resource, promoting excellence through education, communication, and training.

The purpose of this website is to educate students, parents and professionals about various services offered by Connecticut colleges and universities. The professional members of CT AHEAD want to ensure that people with disabilities have the same access and academic opportunities those without disabilities, to create a “level playing field.”

As president of CT AHEAD, I want to ensure that all people are educated about disability services in Connecticut colleges and universities.
