WHY JOIN?
As a member of MN AHEAD you will be a part of the local affiliate of the national AHEAD organization implemented as a support and educational resource for professionals involved in post-secondary disability services. AHEAD is the premiere professional association committed to full participation of persons with disabilities in postsecondary education. Being a member of MN AHEAD has many benefits. Not only will you be invited to attend informational meetings free of charge, you will be offered reduced fees for conferences. In addition, you will be given access to the networking that is invaluable in this profession through the listserv and through collaborations that occur within the group. Other personnel on your campus may also be interested in membership including your 504/ADA Compliance officer and college legal counsel.
