Conferences
AHEAD is firmly committed to providing a Conference experience and environment that is equally welcoming, inviting, and user-friendly for all attendees. While many steps to ensure this are built into the program and physical design of the Conference, the Conference planners also recognize that there are individuals who require that specific accommodations be arranged to ensure their full and equal participation.
All housing for the 2011 AHEAD Conference is being provided by the Sheraton Seattle Hotel, adjacent to the Washington Convention Center where most Conference events will be held.
We have scheduled two informative poster sessions for the AHEAD 2011 Conference. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit all poster presentations, so pre-selection is not necessary. Below is a list of accepted poster presentations to date. Details about each poster will be in the on-site Program Book.

As you select your concurrent session choices, please note several vendor-sponsored sessions during Concurrent Block 6 on Friday Morning. These sessions are provided to give attendees additional information about some products and services. AHEAD does not expressly endorse any particular commercial entity.

The AHEAD 2011 Preconference Institutes provide opportunities for attendees to participate in intensive, topic-specific, workshop-style events taught by notable and well-respected experts in their field. Ranging from 3 1/2 hours to two full days, the Institutes are an outstanding chance for Conference attendees to receive in-depth professional development.
Might You Need a Roommate?
AHEAD will collect a list of individuals who are interested in securing a roommate for the Conference and will distribute that list June 7, 2011, to all who have expressed an interest. Individuals will then be responsible for contacting each other, and arranging shared housing.
If you would like to be included in the roommate referral program, please e-mail the following information to Robert Plienis, AHEAD’s Manager of Member Services, at Robert@ahead.org :
Regarding Universal Access and Environmental Responsibility
