Forum and Audience

In addition to plenary sessions, the Program Committee is intent on providing concurrent workshops and symposia for the novice (new to the field), intermediate (several years of experience and skills) and experienced/advanced audience. A number of sessions are geared to all audiences as well. Several different forums are available to fit a variety of topics.

Preconference Institutes provide the opportunity for in-depth professional development for participants and may target specific audiences. The Program Planners are seeking in-depth, new and innovative submissions in this area. Time slots include 3-hour half day sessions and 6-hour full day sessions.

Concurrent Sessions include lectures on research, best practices and other topics, AT and other demonstrations, interactive workshops, symposia and other training formats. Proposals at all levels are sought to ensure opportunities for professional development for all participants. We are especially interested in Roundtable Discussions on timely topics.

Poster Sessions expose attendees to research and exemplary practices via walk-through displays and one-to-one interaction between presenter and audience. Project information is displayed on large bulletin boards to be viewed by those circulating in the room.
