Silent Auction Information
Silent Auction to Benefit the AHEAD Scholarship Program
An exciting part of each summer’s AHEAD Conference is the silent auction. AHEAD members donate quality items from their college or university, hometown, personally handcrafted items, etc. to be bid on during the Conference. The proceeds from the silent auction are used exclusively for student and member scholarships. Since 2002 over $50,000 has been raised for scholarships through the silent auction. We hope you will participate in this important endeavor.
The following items have been popular silent auction gifts in the past:
Baskets with regional edibles
Gift cards to national stores or restaurants
Arts and crafts representing regional areas
Books relevant to disability issues
Getaway trips
Tickets (i.e. theme park, movie, ski, etc.)
Apparel (i.e. your home state professional sports teams or college/university)
There are two ways to get your silent auction gift to the Conference:
- Bring the item(s) with you to the Conference. IMPORTANT: If you plan to bring your item with you to the Conference, please fax the adjacent Silent Auction Donor Sheet to 206-616-8379. Then simply drop off your item at the Registration Table when you pick up your Conference materials.
- Or you may send your gift along with the completed Silent Auction Donor Sheet before Friday, July 1, 2011 to:
