Silent Auction Information
Silent Auction to Benefit the AHEAD Scholarship Program
AHEAD members are asked to donate quality items from their college or university, hometown, personally handcrafted items, or similar, to be bid on during the annual conference. This is the exclusive and primary fundraising event for the AHEAD Scholarship Fund, which supports students and members. We encourage everyone to considering donating to the Silent Auction. Since 2002, AHEAD members have helped raise over $50,000! We need your help to continue to make the Silent Auction a success! All donations are tax deductible.
Items that have been donated in the past:
Baskets with regional items
Sports memorabilia (with or without signatures)
Arts and crafts representing regional areas
Books relevant to disability issues
Getaway trips
Vacation home stays
Gift cards to national stores/restaurants
College/university apparel to nationally recognized schools
Theme park tickets
Please think outside the box to help make this the best Silent Auction ever! If you have any ideas for items to donate and you are not sure if they would be appropriate, please contact one of the chairs. Both Rhiannon and Janet would be happy to speak with you.
How can you contribute?
Step one: please fax the Silent Auction Donor Sheet to 301-687-4671 before July 2, 2013
Step two: Either bring your item with you and drop it off at the Registration Table when you pick up your conference materials OR you may send your gift along with the completed Silent Auction Donation Form to arrive before July 2, 2013 to:
