More than ever, disability service providers need to pay attention
to developments in secondary education and the transition field.
The recent passage of the Individuals with Disabilities Education
Act (IDEA) of 2004 has dramatically changed the diagnostic information
that secondary schools are required to develop for graduating students.
This webpage is designed to inform AHEAD members and other disability
service providers in higher education about the new IDEA and
solicit feedback about its impact on transition, documentation
and postsecondary education. Please visit the links below to
learn more about this and share your thoughts.
