Registration via FAX does require payment by purchase order or credit card.
You will receive confirmation of your registration via FAX approximately
10 Business days (2 weeks) after receipt of your application by AHEAD.
Please note: Discounted rates are offered as noted on the registration
form for attendees who reside outside of the United States; however, all
Conference registration fees must be paid in U.S. funds.

Tips for a smooth registration...
1. Print or type your registration information clearly on your
registration form.
2. Fully complete all nine sections of the registration form,
ensuring that you include your selections for:
• preconference institutes (if applicable),
• concurrent and symposium session choices, and
• indication of your attendance at the “Brown Bag Business
Meeting” and the Awards Banquet
3. Submit your registration form well in advance to take advantage
of the lowest rates available
4. Submit your registration form with full payment information
5. Call 704-947-7779 (v/t) or e-mail AHEADahead@ahead.org (email link) if
you have any questions prior to registering.

Conference Registration Fee Reimbursements
A limited number of registration fee reimbursements are available to assist members in funding their attendance at the AHEAD Conference in Charlotte, NC. The creation of these reimbursements is intended to assist NEW professionals who do not have ready access to peers; consequently, preference for selection will include:
1. New AHEAD members with less than one year experience in postsecondary disability service provision
2. AHEAD members from single-staff offices
If you are interested in applying for a registration fee reimbursement, please take the following steps:
1. Register for the Conference.
2. Pay the registration fee; if you are selected your registration fee will be reimbursed.
3. Along with your complete contact information including e-mail address, submit a paragraph of not more than 250 words regarding your role and how the Conference will be of benefit to you
4. Mail or FAX your reimbursement request with a copy of your registration confirmation by June 8, 2007 to:

Applicants selected to receive reimbursement will be notified no later than July 1, 2007.
Scented Products
In an effort to provide the most comfortable conference experience possible for all attendees, AHEAD asks attendees to refrain from the use of scented products during the AHEAD Conference and observe that all events related to the AHEAD Conference are smoke-free.
Continuing Education Units (CEU’s)
AHEAD has applied for CEU approval from CRCC, NBCC, APA, NASW, and RID for this Conference. Updated information on obtaining CEU’s will be posted to the AHEAD website at www.ahead.org after June 1, 2007 and will also be available onsite in Charlotte.
Comfort tip
While the outdoor weather in Charlotte in July averages 80 degrees
Fahrenheit, meeting rooms are often quite chilly. Please consider bringing
along a light sweater for your comfort.
