As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold, AHEAD has determined that it is impossible to hold an in-person conference in Palm Desert, California this July.
2020 will, therefore, mark the first time in 43 years that AHEAD will not hold an annual conference. However, our first priority has to be the health and safety of members, staff, exhibitors, and colleagues. We will miss the opportunity to be with you in person and regret that this difficult decision had to be made.
In the next few weeks, we will be in touch with details on an alternative, virtual event that we hope will help to fill the gap in professional development and community left by the absence of the conference this year. In the meantime, we will work with those of you who had already registered to arrange for reimbursement of your registration fee or to carry forward your funds to the remote event or future AHEAD events.
