Coaching Services Community of Practice

By AHEAD posted 03-09-2021 02:12:01 PM

AHEAD is piloting a new initiative to support members who are interested in exploring and enhancing their use of data to understand, evaluate, and promote campus coaching services for students. We are forming a time-limited Community of Practice (CoP) that will consist of a small group of committed professionals who are leading coaching services or a coaching program on a college campus. This group of 4-6 professionals will meet virtually during the Fall 2021 term to engage in reflection, sharing, and goal setting with this small cadre of peers on the topic of coaching service evaluation. The CoP will be co-facilitated by three professionals with expertise in coaching services and program evaluation. The goal of the CoP is for each participant to strengthen their ability to use data and information to better understand, evaluate, and/or promote their own coaching services.  All participants will be encouraged to share their enhanced data and evaluation activities with the field through publications and/or presentations.

More information on the logistics of the CoP and application requirements are available on the AHEAD Information Services Portal (member log in required).

Applications to participate in the Coaching CoP are due April 15, 2021. Applicants will be notified of the selection outcomes by May 28, 2021.
