Building a Continuum of Accessible Transportation Services in Higher Education

As higher education campuses blend into communities, the need for students, including Veterans, to have access to transportation is important. Easter Seals Project ACTION funded by the Federal Transit Administration, works with K12, higher education, and public transit to build transportation continuums for people with disabilities. We are interested in learning about your successes, challenges, and ideas regarding transportation services across your campus and beyond.

Students STEEPed in LEADership: Access to the Full College Experience

Many students, despite being appropriately accommodated, are isolated on campus without enjoying the full college experience beyond the classroom. Students and Coordinators will present the growth of Molloy College's Success Through Expanded Education Program (STEEP), an innovative approach to camaraderie, leadership and student-driven outreach. Student club, L.E.A.D. (Leadership, Education, and Awareness of Disabilities) will be highlighted.
