Ian Kunkes is the cofounder and CEO of EdPros and EdPros Digital, organizations committed to strengthening institutional capacity and advancing accessibility in higher education. He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an MS in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland, and an EdD in Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Kunkes has a 20 year career supporting disabled students in educational setting, most recently serving for nearly eight years as Director of Student Accessibility and Educational Opportunity and member of the Student Affairs Leadership Team at Virginia Commonwealth University.
An active member of AHEAD for over a decade, he has contributed to the organization’s professional competencies, published in leading journals, and presented at conferences nationwide. He now leads a national team of postsecondary disability resource and accessibility consultants, delivering interim leadership, case management, external reviews, and digital accessibility solutions aligned with Title II compliance dozens of institutions annually.
