Orlando Hilton Word Maps - Guest Rooms
Typical guest rooms are either singles (Kings) or doubles (2 Queens). There major difference between the two is the singles have a nightstand on either side of the bed and a double has one nightstand between the two beds. There is a lounge chair, side table and standing light between the bed(s) and window and the single room has an ottoman with the chair.
Access to the room is with a key card that is inserted horizontally in a slot about 3 inches above the door handle. There is a brief ‘whir’ sound when the door is unlocked.
To secure the door at night there is a wire loop above the door handle mechanism and a deadbolt lever just above the door handle.
As you enter the room with the door closed in the entry hallway, the bathroom door will be on the same side as the room door handle and the closet is next. The bathroom door opens into the bathroom and the closet door opens into the entry hall. The bed(s) will be same side of the room as the bathroom with the dresser and desk opposite of the bed.
The closet has an ironing board and iron (on upper shelf) and folding luggage rack)
The dresser has 6 drawers (2 across by 3 down) with the top right ‘drawer’ (pull down) being a programmable safe.
On the room door side of the dresser is a micro-refrigerator with a Cuisinart dual-cup single brew coffee maker on top. See instructions below
There is a 37 inch LED television on top of the dresser (see TV Remote below) and between the dresser and the desk is bottled water.
The desk is located next to the dresser and the outside wall. The desk has telephone and desk lamp. The lamp (and the lamps on the nightstands) has a toggle switch at the base on the front. On the dresser next to the desk are outlets for power.
The outside wall has a window that starts about 30 inches above the floor. There is a sheer curtain next to the window and a blackout curtain on the room side. Both are operated by pull bar towards the center of the window.
There is a telephone on the desk and on the nightstand between the two beds (double) and on the window side of the single bed.
