The Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) in Virginia is a statewide organization of professionals committed to full participation in higher education for persons with disabilities. The Association is a vital resource, promoting excellence through education, communication and training.
SPECIAL NOTICE: In consideration of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on our respective institutions, all memberships (individual and institutional) for the 2019-20 year are automatically extended for the 2020-21 year at no additional membership fee (until September 30, 2021). In addition, we are offering a 50% discount for new memberships for 2020-21.

AHEAD in Virginia has grown since its inception in 1990 and currently has a number of opportunities for you to get involved. If you want to participate in YOUR professional association, consider joining one of our committees. Each committee seeks representatives from our different type of member institutions - 4-year public, 4-year private, and community colleges.
