Rhonda Rapp
Rhonda H. Rapp is currently the Director of a TRiO-Student Support Services program and an Adjunct Faculty member at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Rapp has more than 30 years of experience in the field of disability services and 40 years of experience as an educational diagnostician. Over the years, she has provided a variety of disability-related services at both the community college and the university level and at public and private institutions. She has also created and presented training focused on working with students with disabilities for faculty (kindergarten through postsecondary), support staff and for disability service providers. In addition to working full time at St. Mary’s University, she is the disability consultant for the Kamehameha School System in Hawaii and for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Her professional involvement includes being a founding member and first president of AHEAD in Texas and as a Technical Advisor for the Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD). She was also the 2018 recipient of the Ronald E. Blosser Award, for outstanding service to AHEAD; the AHEAD Honor for Meritorious Contribution, Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion Award.

Rate Information
To be eligible to register at the member rate you must be an AHEAD in Virginia member.  The national AHEAD membership is different from the state AHEAD in Virginia membership.  Only AHEAD in Virginia membership (not membership in the national AHEAD association) makes you eligible for the member rate for this conference.  You may join AHEAD in Virginia for 2018-19 at the following link:  https://www.regonline.com/membership18-19_2520914

CEUs
Full conference participants have an opportunity to register for continuing education units (CEUs) while registering for the conference.  CEUs are not available for single day conference registration. You must register for CEUs when you register for the conference.  Requirements set by the granting institution necessitate advanced registration for receiving CEUs.

 Hotel reservations by telephone only – ask for AHEAD in Virginia conference rate.

 A special room rate of $139 (plus taxes) is available if you make the reservation by February 14 (or until block of rooms is full, whichever comes first).  Afterwards standard room rates apply.  A limited number of rooms are available at the special rate, so reserve early.  Discounted parking rate $6/daily at parking facility adjacent to hotel applies to all conference attendees (overnight guests and day visitors).
