The Michigan affiliate of the Association on Higher Education And Disability (MI-AHEAD) was founded in 1987. MI-AHEAD is an organization committed to providing professional development for service providers in order to enhance opportunities and ensure full inclusion for students with disabilities in all areas of higher education. MI-AHEAD holds an annual conference and conducts monthly membership meetings to achieve these goals.
