AHEAD is transitioning away from most of its listservs, having recently implemented online community-based member engagement tools within its newly-designed website. The online communities offer a much more robust way to network with others and share resources. A complete list of the listservs scheduled to be discontinued Wednesday, April 18 at 3 p.m. Eastern is below.
PLEASE NOTE THAT AHEAD AFFILITE LISTSERVS WILL REMAIN OPERATIONAL.
AHEAD currently has 22 Communities located on its website. Many that will directly replace the listservs being shut down. As an AHEAD member, you are welcome to join any of the new Communities. If you would like AHEAD to establish a new Community to replace a listserv, please send your request to Jeremy Jarrell, AHEAD's Director of Innovation & Development, by email at jeremy@ahead.org.
If this is your first time using the AHEAD Communities or your first time visiting the new www.ahead.org please review the following information to get started.
Signing into the new AHEAD website – Select Sign In at the top right of AHEAD's website: www.ahead.org and enter your username (typically your AHEAD member-associated email address) and your AHEAD password. If you don't remember your password, select "Forgot Password." You will receive an email (from ahead@memberclicks-mail.net) with the subject "Password Reset Request" with information on how to set your password. Check your spam/junk email folder if you do not see this email in your inbox immediately. Please note that the system may take up to 30 minutes to recognize your membership. Once you are successfully signed in you will have access to AHEAD member-only resources, including AHEAD's 22 online Communities.
Joining AHEAD Members-Only Communities – AHEAD hosts a variety of online Communities on a variety of topics. After you have signed in, you can review the AHEAD Community listings by visiting https://www.ahead.org/communities/allcommunities. As an AHEAD member, you are already joined to the AHEAD Members community and subscribed to daily digests sent via email.
