It’s that time of year: All our offices get busy processing the influx of housing accommodation requests for the upcoming academic year. We all have similar questions; how do we manage a limited number of on-campus housing units? How can we facilitate discussions about accessible evacuation plans? What types of documentation is reasonable to ask for disabilities like anxiety or depression? And of course... what is considered reasonable when it comes to ESAs in dorms? This is a chance for you to connect with others who are asking these same questions, and brainstorm ideas together. Join us on Zoom for this drop-in discussion, where we will have knowledgeable disability leaders with extensive experience in managing housing accommodations on hand to participate and help guide conversations. This will not be recorded, and you can come in and stay for however long you’d like.
