Welcome to the AHEAD 2015 Virtual Conference!

If you’re not able to attend the AHEAD conference in St. Paul, Minnesota this summer, don’t fret, you can still participate through AHEAD’s first ever Virtual Conference!

It’s an innovative way to receive professional development right from your office or home.

Here’s How it Works

  • Through a partnership with V-cube USA, Inc. and Accessing Higher Ground, AHEAD will be broadcasting the key sessions below, live, during the conference, complete with video, audio and real-time captioning.
  • Once you register, you will receive instructions via email for downloading the software and how to log in from your computer to access each session at the days and times shown.
  • After the event, once the session recordings are captioned and posted, you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to access the posted video. The video will be available for viewing for at least 1 year after the event.

All of our online sessions include real-time captioning. We are using Adobe Connect to stream the virtual conference. The captioning will be transmitted through Adobe's captioning pod. The video recording of the webcast will be posted with captioning following the event.

Screenreader Access

Adobe Connect is screenreader accessible, instructions for enabling this feature will be sent to you after you register.

Site add-on

Your registration for the virtual conference allows you to access it from one computer. You can watch by yourself or with a group in your office. To show the sessions you’ve chosen at additional locations on campus, use the "site add-on" option on the registration form. You’ll be sent a login for the additional site. Each "site add-on" is $100.
