WI AHEAD is accepting nominations March 25-April 26 for the Executive Board positions of President-Elect and Secretary. The time commitment for the board is reasonable – once a month video conference, for no more than an hour. More time may be required during event planning. It is the mission of WI-AHEAD to provide professional support and development to postsecondary disability service providers in Wisconsin and to other individuals and organizations who share the same commitment. Below, you will find details about each position.
President-Elect
- Opportunity to attend national or regional AHEAD conference.
- Plan yearly conference and/or events.
- Participate in goal setting for WI AHEAD.
- Work closely with President/Past-President.
- Participate in planning committees.
- Assume responsibility of President when not present.
Secretary
- Take board meeting & annual meeting minutes.
- Send correspondence to board members & members.
- Assist in coordinating annual elections.
- Plan yearly conference and/or events.
- Participate in goal setting for WIAHEAD.
